Who We Are

We are an evangelical Christian congregation located in Austintown, committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and building a Christ-centered community. The church is affiliated with the National Association of Free Will Baptists, a fellowship of churches across the United States and internationally.

Here at New Road Church our mission can be summarized as:

Brief History

The church was founded in 1966 as a project of Free Will Baptist Home Missions at the corner of Kirk Road and Canfield – Niles Rd in Austintown. In 1996 the church purchased land and built the facility at the current location at 5530 New Road. For the last 24 years Tom Dooley was the pastor here, and in August 2025 we welcomed our new pastor, Greg Tucker, and his family to the area. We are so thankful to Pastor Dooley for his faithful service to Christ here for the last 24 years, and we are excited and looking forward to what God is doing in and through Pastor Greg and his family already! We pray that you will choose to join with us as we seek to grow in Christ and see Him work through us in the community!
